Jared Johnson

Hi, my name is Jared Johnson and I'm a veterinary assistant at Tennessee Avenue Animal Hospital. I attended Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio where I received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a veterinary assistant certificate. After graduating I volunteered at Shawnee Animal Clinic where I learned all the basic veterinary assistant skills. I learned how to restrain patients, treat them, and how to properly care for them. In my spare time I love to go fishing or play soccer any chance I get, as well as going bowling or going to the movies. I have a dog named Gibbs. Gibbs is a Boston Terrier and he lives with my Mom in Portsmouth, I hope he will be joining me in Cincinnati very soon.

We really enjoy animals and the people they befriend. We make pets our passion, and we work hard to ensure their good health. When you're choosing a veterinarian, it's best to choose someone who genuinely enjoys being around animals. Isn't it time your fur baby had the best care available?
